Peer Coaching for pupils

• Yr 5 and upwards pupils trained in basic peer coaching skills, with clear boundaries
• Pupil coaches work with peers who would benefit from raising their achievement academically and/or socially
• 8 x 1 hour training sessions with a group of 10 pupils over a term - in or after school
• Follow-on supervision for a term to ensure quality
• Flexible – can be part of lunch time clubs

Our coaching starts from the belief that you know the answer to the challenges you face – which may be at work or in your personal life. Coaching enables you to access these personal 'resources' through skilful questioning and exploration. Coaching creates a safe space in which you can reflect on your experience; learn or unlearn; and then develop clear strategies for moving forward. Coaching is typically for six one-hour sessions.
