Welcome to BrQthru Counselling & Play Therapy

BrQthru works with adults, young people and children to assist personal transformation through counselling and play therapy.

We have experience working

• in educational settings for all ages
• with children affected by domestic violence
• with adults

We use a client-centred approach which is non-directive, non-analytical and without judgement. When appropriate, we engage younger clients through counselling with play therapy skills. This may include working with sand trays, art materials or other creative media. We work with both individuals and groups.

Creative skills can be modified to work with adults, groups or organisations.

BrQthru provides services in many educational settings and clients may be self-referred or advised to attend by a teacher for children’s therapy.

BrQthru works with parents, teachers and other education professionals as well as the individual client within the bounds of confidentiality. We have recently set up a Skype counselling and coaching service which is available on request.

BrQthru counsellors work within the Ethical Framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or its equivalent professional body.
